We announce the death of John H Coleman of Morgantown, Kentucky, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 71. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayward D. Coleman and Delphia Harrell Coleman. He is survived by: his wife Linda Coleman of Morgantown, KY; his children, Dwayne of Morgantown, KY and April Woosley (Corinthian) of Morgantown, KY; his grandchildren, Chase (Chelsea), Amelia, Dylan and Levi; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Carson and Coleson; his brothers, Richard Coleman (Debbie) of Morgantown, KY and Chris House of Bowling Green, KY; his brother-in-law Roger Burden (Linda) of Beaver Dam, KY; and his aunt Betty Deweese of Morgantown, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel (927 W G L Smith St, Morgantown, KY 42261). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
