We bid farewell to Josette Harden of Morgantown, Kentucky, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 11, 2025 at the age of 57. Josette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Jerry Harden; her grandparents, Agnes, Delbert Minton, Ivy and Roy Harden; and her aunt Dot.
She is survived by: her mother Phyllis Minton-Smith; her siblings, Roger Harden, Tim Harden and Anna Johnson (Dustin); her siblings' children, Christian Harden (Lorna), Hayden Johnson (Catie), Alyssa Harden, Rebecca Hawkins (Aaron) and Shelby Johnson (Colby); her pets, Chigger and Rosie; and her close friends, Sonya King (Ronald) and Bobby McKinney. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (403 N Main St, Morgantown, KY 42261). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Smith Funeral Home.
