He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul E. Carroll and Elizabeth Bingham Carroll; and his siblings, Baron, Johnny, Ernest Carroll, Freda Burris and Eva Givens.

He is survived by : his close friend Lisa Carroll of Morgantown; his sisters, Thelma Nix of Indianapolis and Sandy Mason of Centertown; and his pet Kelly. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
