She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Adkins and Opal Jerline Lindsey Adkins; her son Erdist William Costello; and her brothers, Tommy, Alvie and Don Adkins.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Dodson of Morgantown, KY; her children, James Eddie Costello of Morgantown, KY, Vonda Turner of Woodbury, KY and Lori Clark of Beaver Dam, KY.; and her siblings, Johny Adkins of Morgantown, KY, Fordia Dunn (Larry) of Morgantown, KY and Martha Dunn of Morgantown, KY. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel (927 W G L Smith St, Morgantown, KY 42261). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
