We are sad to announce that, on February 21, 2026, at the age of 62, Wendell Lee Burden of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Wendell may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wendell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Nellie Opaline Peay Burden. He is survived by: his father Ezra Burden; his nephew Mark Morris; and his siblings, Carolyn Swift, Michael Burden and Charles Ezra Burden.
