He was predeceased by: his parents, R. D. Thompson and Mary Barger Thompson; and his wife Nancy Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Rickey Thompson (Becky) of Morris, KY and Cristy Farler (Glenn) of Hazard, KY.; his sisters, Carol Thomas and Sylvia Thompson of Middletown, OH.; his grandchildren, Joshua Thompson (Kirstie) and Stephanie Wittenmyer (Lincoln); and his great grandchildren, Joshlynn, Apple, Jeremiah, Savannah, Reylin, Sophia, Eva, Isabella, Hannah and Balor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
