She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy May Williams Owen and Paul Winfrey "Penny" Owen; and her sister Charlotte Elliott. She is survived by: her husband James Skaggs of Mortons Gap; her son Jody Wells (Jody) of Earlington, KY; her siblings, Louie Owen (Eve) of Mortons Gap, KY and Sylvia McCraw (Harold Gallagher) of Benton, KY; and her grandchildren, James Wells (Christine) of Massachusetts and Haley Johnson (Parker) of White Plains, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
