She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wayne Franklin and Gloria Fay Raney Blanks; and her stepfather Robert Blanks. She is survived by: her husband Harold Cavanaugh; her children, Jessica Mercer (Joshua) of Madisonville and Joshua Thomas of Morton's Gap; her stepsons, Joseph Cavanaugh of Madisonville and Nicholas Cavanaugh (Whitney) of Madisonville; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Olivia and Oran Cavanaugh; her brother Michael Franklin of Madisonville; and her aunt Brenda Raney of Madisonville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bandy Funeral Home (18 N Main St, Nortonville, KY 42442). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at the Good Hope Cemetery (1376 Good Hope Rd, Nortonville, KY 42442).
