He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxie "Bud" Camplin and Mary Camplin (Brummett); his grandchild Dakota Camplin; and his siblings, Nora Dell Sappington, Carlos Rex Camplin, Sr., Katherine Key and Priscilla Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Camplin (Foe); his children, Michael Camplin (Mindy), Jason Camplin (Julie), Curtis Camplin (Jennifer), Tricia Barnett (Don), Savanah Baldwin (Dakota), Brandon Looney, Amber Copple (Beau), Christopher Looney (Laci), Jennifer Weatherwax, Candice Rhye (Philip), Rebecca Woodruff (Isaac) and Dasha Bean; and his brothers, Baxter Camplin and Emmett Camplin (Linda). He is also survived by 44 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
