With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy D. Welch of Mount Eden, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 18, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Hermon Welch and Mary Blanche Milton Welch; his daughter Cindy Wilson; and his sisters, Shirley Moore and Eugenia Welch.

He is survived by : his wife Pat Welch of Mount Eden; and his children, Sandy Harrod (Darrell) of Mount Washington, Hermon Welch (Lisa) of Cox's Creek and Jamie O'Bannon (Mike) of Cox's Creek. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren and his thirteen great-grandchildren.
