Robin left this world on October 24, 2025 at the age of 66, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Combs Hayes and Robert Earl Melhorne, Sr.; her sisters, Margaret "Penny" O'Merea and Nora Beverly "Bev" Sanders; and her nephew Michael O'Merea.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nicole Sams (Robert) of Mt. Eden and Heather Hess (Timmy) of Shelbyville; her grandchildren, Maddy Pierce, Keven Hess (Aliyah) and Allie Hess (Shane Marcum); her great grandchildren, Alexander Hess and Bella Marcum; her nephew Tim Russell of Richmond; and her pet Huey.
Flowers are welcome, and donations may be made to the donor's favorite animal rescue organization in Robin's memory.
