He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis L. Gentry and Vonda Pearl Gentry (Stephens). He is survived by: his wife Betty Gentry (Helton) of Mt. Hermon; his children, Wesley Gentry (Emily) of Bowling Green and Taylor Waldridge (Brandon) of Cave City; his grandchildren, Gunner Garrison, Everly Gentry, Annie Page and Adaline Gentry; and his uncle Raymond Stephens (Wanda).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bartley & Sons Funeral Home (204 Columbia Ave, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the White Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Monroe County Band Program in memory of Bobby, those may be made at the Funeral Home.
