With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hazel DeSpain Edmonds of Mount Sherman, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her husband William Jackson "Jack" Edmonds; and her brothers, Willie and Edward DeSpain. She is survived by: her daughters, Rosetta Edmonds of Mt. Sherman, Rebecca Wooden (Cecil) of Elizabethtown and Melissa Edmonds (Moe) of Louisville; her grandchildren, Bo Brown, Scotty Brown (Sierra), Todd Brown (Darla), Tonya Buchannon, Chuckie Sanders, Erick Sanders, Jessica Gil (Tim) and Jordain Edmonds; and her great grandchildren, Brent, Kiernan, Riley, Elizabeth, Lillie, Kevin, Aiden, Adrienne, Jolene, Silas, Emma, Bella, Izaiah, Ameila, Esmeralda, Alejandra and Gabe. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home (208 W Water St, Hodgenville, KY 42748). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
