Carl Edward Baker Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Edward Baker (Mount Sterling, Kentucky), who passed away on February 15, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Neva Bentley and Joseph Baker; his half-siblings, Norene Anderson Vanover and Paul Anderson; and his parents, Ruben Baker and Lona Baker.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Maynard Baker; his children, Chris Baker (Andrea) of Lexington, KY, Sarah Pannell (Nick) of Goshen, KY and Susan Eloy (Kevin) of Centerville, MA; his daughter-in-law Lynne Baker of Richmond, KY.; his half-sister Phyllis McIntyre; and his son Brian Baker. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Nazarene Missions to support the Youth for Missions trips.
