It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Richardson Jr. of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his sisters, Julie Spoonamore, Wilmena Rison and Belinda Davis. He is survived by : his wife Lina S. Richardson of Mt. Sterling, KY; his daughters, Candy Adams of Mt. Sterling, KY and Marita Fox of Flemingsburg, KY; his grandchildren, Josh Adams and Melissa Fox; and his great grandchild Lincoln Adams.

“My heart goes out to lina, Candy, Marita and all of Carl's family. Carl was one of the nicest people I have known and a great police officer. He and my husband worked together for years on the police force, but more than that, he and Lina were our friends. While Ron was in Reserve training, Lina was with me when I had my youngest, and Carl brought us home from the hospital. Carl was good, and brave and kind, and certainly one of a kind. Belinda Farley”
