He was predeceased by: his parents, Prosner Botts and Orea Trent Botts; his son Timmie Dale Botts; and his siblings, Daniel Botts, George Botts, Juanitta Ross, Geraldine Fields and Mildred Kendrick.
He is survived by: his wife Gail; his daughter Jennifer Gail Botts; and his siblings, David Botts, Donald Botts (Carol), Jenetta Campbell (Lee) and Kozet Davis.
