He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Orme and Lucille Thomas Orme; his sons, Mark Orme (Ida "Pinky") and Charles Orme II; his brothers, Billy Orme and Tommy Orme; his son-in-law Walter Corbin; and his sister Carolyn Donithan.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wells Orme; his children, Mike Orme (Pam) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Charlie Orme (Dottie) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Sandy Orme Corbin of Mt. Sterling, KY; his sister Dollie Cassidy (Don) of Mt. Sterling, KY; his grandchildren, Shannon Behnken (Jason), Stacy White (Sean), Clint Orme, April Walters (Shane), Sean Corbin (Amanda), Mandi "Little Ruthie" Bailey (Wade), Josh Orme (Jacque), Tyler Orme (Donna), John Orme (Chelsea) and Stephanie Lykins; his great grandchildren, Alexis Behnken, Caleb Behnken, Jake White, Jordan "Cochise" White, Jack Walters, Max Walters, Brighton Corbin, Miles Corbin, Olivia Hall, Emma, Hall, Preston Darst, Kendall Orme-Bailey, Luci Bailey, Tristen Bailey, Riley Orme, Kaylie Orme, Kourtney Orme, Cristina Orme, Bethany Orme, Mason Orme, Taylor McCarty and Peyton McCarty; and his close friends, Chad Curran, Mike Atkins, Ralph Atkins, Ryland Moore, Thurman Mullet and Frank Brown. He is also survived by friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel (109 E Main St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the Machpelah Cemetery (600 E Locust St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353).
