David Thomas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Thomas of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 53. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Thomas to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvada Thomas (Maloney) and Billy Thomas; and his brothers, Daniel Thomas and James Thomas. He is survived by: his siblings, Billy Thomas Jr. (Pam), Ida "Penny" Painter (Robbie), Jacqueline Lance (Shannon) and Tammy Evans (Larry); his stepchild Avery; and his children, David, Danni and Adaline.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mt. Sterling First United Methodist Church (846 Grassy Lick Rd, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Winchester Cemetery (625 W Lexington Ave, Winchester, KY 40391).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested by the family to Mt. Sterling First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 725, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.
