He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "R. K." Sr. Morris and Fannie Sellers Morris; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Morris, Jr., Louise Litteral, John Morris, Dallas Morris, Gary "Clyde" Morris, Clayton Morris and Kelly Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Rice Morris; his daughter Treva Tipton (Kevin); his grandchildren, Cole Tipton (Lindsey) and Macey Tipton; and his siblings, Donald Morris (Kathleen) and Diana Tutt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grassy Lick Methodist Church (2550 Prewitt Grassy Lick Rd, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clarmont Memorial Gardens (3000 Mt Sterling Rd, Winchester, KY 40391).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Grassy Lick Methodist Church, P.O. Box 206, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353, a place that held special meaning in Doug's heart.
