She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward Shrout and Gladys West Shrout; her son Thomas Gatewood Sorrell (Margaret); and her siblings, Roberta Shrout Patterson, Mary Louise Shrout Eads, Ruth Anne Shrout Gullet, Charles Edward Shrout and John Robert Shrout.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Sorrell; her sons, Brad Sorrell (Dana) of Mayslick and David Sorrell (Susan) of Lexington; and her nephew Mike Eads of Austin.
