It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Clay Brooks (Mount Sterling, Kentucky), who passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Brooks and Annie Davis Brooks; and his siblings, Walter Burns, Raymond Burns, David W. Burns, John Brooks, Ann White and Mary Owens.
He is survived by: his daughters, Aneidra Brooks-Smith of Cincinnati, Tonya Brooks of Cincinnati and Aisha Brooks; his stepdaughters, Cartrec Garrett and Elisa Garrett; David Wright, Jr. of Mount Sterling, Kentucky.. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
