He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Miller and Betty Louise Hopkins Miller; his wife Tina Gail Adams Hopkins; and his brother-in-law Mark Elam. He is survived by: his sons, Braxton Hopkins (Lucie) of Lexington and Trevor Hopkins (Kassidy) of Jeffersonville; his sister Cathy Hopkins Elam (Michael) of Jeffersonville; his niece Kristan Elam; and his nephews, Nick Elam (Lana), Josh Elam (Olivia), Matthew Elam (Jessica), Austin Simpson (Samantha) and Jason Simpson.
