We announce the death of Jerry Lee Curtis of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee Curtis and Onie Patton Curtis; and his son Tim Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Helen Stephens Curtis of Mt. Sterling, KY; his son Randall Curtis of Montgomery Co; his sister Hazel Powell of Mt. Sterling, KY; and his grandson Jeremy Curtis of Mt. Sterling, KY. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel (109 E Main St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Old Nest Egg Cemetery.
