He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Johnson and Eva Turner Johnson; and his brothers, Frank Johnson, Everett Johnson, Delmer Johnson and Robert Johnson.
He is survived by: his nephew Clyde Johnson (Deborah) of Mt. Sterling, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
