He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Willard Ferguson and Rosa Ferguson (Ferguson); his son Miles Dwayne Ferguson; and his brothers, Donnie and Hershell Ferguson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Richardson Ferguson; his children, Shelia (Marvin Ward), Melanie (Scott Weber) and Steven; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Miller; his siblings, Sammy Ferguson and Angie Peyton; his grandchildren, Kelly and Kaitlin; and his great grandchildren, Presley and Brynnlee.
