With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pearl Murphy (Mount Sterling, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Short and Lula Short; her husband James Clifford Murphy; and her brothers, Arnold Short and Charles Short.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Oldfield (Mike Swacke), Marcelle Vivian, Jimmy Murphy, Barbara Sue Murphy and Roger Murphy; and her grandchildren, Ricky Oldfield (Geraldine), Shane Oldfield (Sandy), Jennifer Campbell, Caroline Canham (Orrie), Elizabeth Dzubak, David Dzubak, Deana Murphy Ledford and Megan Murphy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to UK St. Claire Hospice.
