He was predeceased by: his father Vernon David Grooms. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Hedges Grooms of Mt. Sterling, KY; his children, Mike Grooms (Julie) of Mt. Sterling and Robin Fogle of Mt. Sterling; his brother Harold Grooms (Nancy) of Bourbon County, KY; his grandchildren, Gus Fogle, Michelle Sobolewski (Rob) and Katlyn Adams (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Briggs Sobolewski, Macoy Sobolewski, Olivia Adams, Sadie Adams and Maddie Adams.
