He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Eugene Powell; and his siblings, Linda Powell, Roger D. Powell and Ricky Powell. He is survived by: his wife Teresia Terrell Powell; his children, Robert N. Powell (Tammie), Roger Powell (Megan) and Crystal Powell; his grandchildren, Christopher Powell, Kennedy Powell and Sierra Powell; and his mother Hazel Curtis Powell.
