He was predeceased by : his parents, Ruben Hale and Virgie Castle; his daughter Teresa Hale; and his siblings, Roy Hicks, Ellis Shepherd, Joe Wheeler Hale, Lindburg Hale, Jesse James Hale and Bonnie Crisp.
He is survived by : his wife Yvonne Bailey Hale of Hope, KY; his children, David Hale (Kristy) of Hope, KY and Rachel King (Johnny) of Hope, KY; his sisters, Charity "Peach" Hardy (Ed) of Scottsdale, AZ and Opal Hale of Canton, MI; and his grandchildren, Brittany Breeden (Dylan), Devin King and Savana King. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
