She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ike and Stella Mae Townsend; her husband Ricky Lee Crowe; her daughter Sylvia Johnson; her siblings, William Townsend (Catherine), Sherman Townsend (Lucy), Raymond Townsend (Janice), Robert Townsend (Bonnie), Thurman Townsend (Doll), Herman Townsend (Helen), Kenneth Townsend (Shirley), Zetta Townsend Hopper (Willie) and Mary Jane Townsend Richardson (George); her former husband James Wesley Townsend; her great grandchild Kaytlin Hope McCoy; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Townsend.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Townsend of Sharpsburg, KY, Charles Oberle (Rachel) of Winchester, KY, Julie Cope (David) of Frenchburg, KY and Susie McCoy (Michael) of Jeffersonville, KY. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
