It is with sadness that the passing of Shirley Spence of Mount Sterling, Kentucky is shared. Shirley, born on November 19, 1946, passed away on September 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Shirley will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Sonny" Spence. She is survived by: her sons, Stan Spence (Connie) of Mt. Sterling, Jeff Spence (Janie) of Salt Lick and Mike Spence (Stephanie) of Winchester. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals (1002 Woodford Dr, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at the Machpelah Cemetery (600 E Locust St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353).
