With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Whitaker of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, born in Lexington, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 59. He was predeceased by: his son Trevor Whitaker. He is survived by: his son Alex Whitaker; his parents, Earl Whitaker and Carolyn Amburgey Whitaker; and his brother Greg Whitaker.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Stephen's memory to the, First Church of God, 1051 Camargo Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353 Stephen Earl Whitaker will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts of those he loved and through the many lives he touched.
