She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Botts and Mattie Botts; and her brothers, Herbert Anthony "Tony" Botts and Timothy Botts. She is survived by: her husband Michael Darnell; her children, Michelle Hunt of Arlington, Christopher Darnell of Cincinnati, Ohio and Andrea Jones of Lexington, Kentucky; her granddaughter Myari Malan; her sister Jennifer Botts of Fishers; her brother-in-law Jack Darnell; and her uncle John Botts. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Vicki's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Lexington Humane Society.
