She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Rowe and Dorthy Rowe; her husband Paul Brooks; her daughter Donna Brooks; her grandson Dillan Shane Vance; and her siblings, Della Rowe and Cecil Rowe.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Brooks (Sabrina), Douglas Brooks (Andrea), Paula Brooks (Jeff Havens), Lisa Vance, Rebecca Brooks and Crystal Vasquez (Elgar); and her siblings, Beecher Rowe, Sherman Rowe, Odie Rowe, Jimmy Rowe, Milton Rowe, Lillie Martin and Debbie Rowe. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
