He was predeceased by: his parents, G. H. "Hobe" Griffin and Ruby Lee "Bee" Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Eva Machal Griffin; his daughters, Debra Lambert and Denise Haddix (Howard); his brothers, David Joe Griffin (Kathy) and Dwight Griffin; and his grandchildren, Lee Ann Hockensmith (Bowen), Evan Nealis (Brittany), Billy Haddix (Jamie) and Eli Haddix (Jade). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
