It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara McFerron of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, born in Brodhead, Kentucky, who passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Smith and Pauline Bradley Smith; and her siblings, Jeffery, Harold, Larry Smith, Carolyn Damrell and Lisa Reams.

She is survived by : her husband Daryl McFerron; her children, Billy Adams (Kim) of Copper Creek, Becky Renner (Paul) of Sand Springs, Shandra Singleton of Eubank and Krystal Thompson (Tony) of Stanford; and her siblings, Roger Smith of Mt. Vernon, Donnie Smith of Louisville, Eugene Smith of Ohio and Linda Fischer of Ohio. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews.
