He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Hubert and Ada Lena Bullock; and his siblings, Burnetta Norton, Claradeen Davis, Lura Robertson, Sue Tabor, Gilbert Clinton Bullock, Leonard Bullock, Kenneth Bullock and James E. Bullock.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Wilburn Bullock of Mount Vernon; his children, Jeff Bullock (Sherry) of Mount Vernon and Lisa Brock (Barry) of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Dustin Bullock (Makayla), Kelsey Pelston (Jacob), Brookelynn Melton (Alex), Katielynn Smithern and Alexis Brock; and his siblings, Harold Bullock of Somerset and Barbara (Delmas Bullock) of Mount Vernon, Kentucky.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, dear friends, and neighbors.
Although Benton bravely battled Alzheimer's disease, and his mind gradually faded, his sharp wit and enduring sense of humor remained a beacon of light for all who knew him.
