He was predeceased by : his mother Deborah Ballard (Gregory); and his brother Gregory Allen. He is survived by : his father Reverend Carl Ballard (Mary); his daughters, Kaitlyn and McKenzie Ballard; and his siblings, Michael C. Ballard, Stacey Russman (Steve), Drew Armbruster and Kristin Irrer (Dana).
