He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Marcum and Elenor Lou Pigg; and his siblings, Louise Seals, John R. Pigg, Dewey Pigg, William Pigg, Daniel Pigg and Carolyn Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Seaborn Pigg of Mount Vernon; his son David Lee Pigg, Jr. of Mount Vernon; his grandsons, Joseph Butler Kelley of Mount Vernon and Trenton David Lee Pigg of Georgetown; and his brothers, Roger Pigg (Lou York Pigg) of Mount Vernon and Tony Pigg of Berea. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home (616 Chestnut St, Berea, KY 40403). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
