He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Doan and Charlotte Lawson Doan; and his brothers, Vernon Doan Jr. and Michael Doan. He is survived by: his wife Donna Mason Doan; his daughter Deanna Barnes (Shawn Doan) of Mt. Vernon; his grandchildren, Kendra Barnes of Mt. Vernon and Isaiah Barnes of Mt. Vernon; and his siblings, Dalmas Doan (Vicki) of Livingston, Tina Doan of Mt Vernon and Debbie Doan (Larry Shepherd) of Mt. Vernon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
