Emmett leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Emmett’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Emmett will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arrie Foster and Lillie Mae Collins Foster; his wife Linda Sue Foster; and his sisters, Maretta, Gladys, Bertie and Carolyn.
He is survived by: his children, William Paul Foster, Johnathon Patrick Foster, Barbara Sue Foster and Lily Mae Foster; and his brother Kenneth Foster.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dowell and Martin Funeral Home (365 W Main St, Mt Vernon, KY 40456).
