He was predeceased by : his parents, John Bowling and Reatha Whitehead Bowling; and his sisters, Kathy Bowling and Eileen Sheldon. He is survived by : his son Shane Bowling of Mt. Vernon; his grandchild Kaityn Bowling; and his siblings, John Bowling Jr. of Hyden, Fern Morgan of London, Geneva Gross (Johnny) of Hyden and Susie Bowling of Hyden.
