She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hensley and Della Rector Hensley; her husband Virgil McKnight; and her siblings, Cecil Hensley, Paul Hensley, Tony Hensley, Faye Williams and Bell Ott.
She is survived by: her children, Larry McKnight (Brenda) of Mt. Vernon and Wanda Hunt of Lexington; her granddaughter Jessica Sharp; her great grandchildren, Julian Sharp and Violet Sharp; and her siblings, Monroe Hensley, Lee Hensley, Edith Hensley Isaacs, Mary Jane Hensley and Reba Hensley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home (616 Chestnut St, Berea, KY 40403). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
