He is survived by: his significant other Carol Ann; his daughters, Martha Jane Meek (David) and Jennifer Chism; his stepson Chriss Kirby (Minnie); his grandchildren, Evan Chism, Phillip Mills (Molly), Samuel Mills, Robert Kirby (Kelci) and Juliann Renfro (Keaton); his great grandchildren, Penelope Mills, Phoebe Mills, Radley Kirby, Riggins "Mack" Kirby, Ruger Kirby and Louella Renfro; and his siblings, Linda Lawson (Carlos) and Fred Allen (Betsy). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Papaw Mack was more than a grandfather.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Shannon Funeral Home (1124 Main St, Shelbyville, KY 40065).
