With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth Hasty of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis Stephens and Thelma Brown Stephens; and her siblings, Paul, Robert S. Fletcher, Bernice Arnold, Lillian Lawson and Glenna Sue Brooks.

She is survived by : her husband Raymond Hasty; her children, Ricky Hasty (Georgette Jenkins) of Mt. Vernon, Vickie Thomas of Mt. Vernon and Rodney Hasty (Eva Payne) of Mt. Vernon; her grandchildren, Natasha Hensley (Kevin), Ashley Thomas (Nick), Reanna Pelfrey (Ed), Amber Legg (Daniel) and Isaiah Thomas; her great grandchildren, Ben, Brody Thomas, Taelor Cummins and Kaughner Hensley; and her great great grandchild Grant Cummins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home For Funerals (148 W Main St, Brodhead, KY 40409). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
