It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Ann Carpenter of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, who passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Teresa Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Teresa Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Kendall and Frances Loretta McCown Turner; her husband James Carpenter; and her siblings, Rickey Dean McCown and Sandra Lee Gadd.
She is survived by: her children, Andy Mark Nagel (Anna Mae) of Cincinnati, OH, Joshua Wayne Nagel (Vola) of Scaffold Cane and Frances Katherine Hensley of Mt. Vernon; and her sisters, Rhonda Ramsey of Lockland, OH, Sherry McCown of Mt. Vernon, Angela Edwards (Duane) of Berea, KY and Rebecca Turner of Mt. Vernon. She is also survived by Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
