It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terry Childress of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse Childress and Rissie Childress (Hansel); and his brother Ricky Childress. He is survived by : his wife Nannie Childress (Cotton); his children, Jamie Bryant of Mt Vernon and Justin Childress of Mt Vernon; his grandchildren, Ryleigh, Kayden, Jameson, Liam and Terry; and his siblings, Benny Childress (Judy) of Mt Vernon, Danny Childress (Connie) of Brodhead, Jerry Childress (Rhonda) of Brodhead, Donnie Childress of Brodhead, Kenny Childress of Mt Vernon, Jesse Childress of Mt Vernon, One and Kaye Neal (Terry) of Mt Vernon.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home For Funerals (148 W Main St, Brodhead, KY 40409). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Red Hill Cemetery.
