Tony Ackerman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Ackerman of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, who passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rogers and Rosa Lee Wilson Ackerman; his siblings, Jerry, Jackie Ackerman and Shirley Ackerman; and his grandson Clay Ackerman.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Ackerman; his children, Scott Ackerman, Jamie of Lexington, Wayne Ackerman (Carol) of Russell Springs, Teresa Ackerman of Harrodsburg and Tonia Edwards (Randy) of Brookeville, IN; his stepson Tim Pritchett of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Grant, Ford, Blake, Laura Edwards, Amelia, Elizabeth Ackerman, Kurigan, Koniger Pritchett, Allie Stewart and David Steeley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
