It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tonya Cook of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Chandler Oxendine (WC) and Minnie Inez Norton-Hill; her brother Donald Hamm; her siblings-in-law, Bernice Norton, Carolyn Hamm, Edna Turner and Larry Cook; her nieces, Sandy Hammons and Rosemary McDaniel; her grandparents, Roscoe and Evelyn Norton; and her uncle Leslie Norton Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Stanley Cook of Mt. Vernon; her stepchildren, Kayla Bullock (Josh) of Franklin, OH and Christopher Cook (Kirsta Owens) of Mt. Vernon; her stepgrandchildren, Carleigh, Emma, Christopher and Tracey; her brother-in-law Dale Cook of Mt. Vernon; and her niece Karen Adams (Mark) of Lexington, KY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First United Methodist Church of London.
