He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mitchell Ashton of Mt. Vernon; his children, Amanda Lucas (Brad) of Butlerville, Indiana and Andrew Jason Ashton (Crystal) of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Kody Lucas, Andrew Ashton and Addison Ashton; and his siblings, Kieth Ashton (Belinda) of Lancaster, Indiana, Ronnie Ashton of Butlerville, Indiana and Diana Bott (Ronnie) of North Vernon, Indiana..
